BIG ANNOUNCEMENT:  www.CBGitty.com sponsors The Cigar Box Guitar Museum at Speal's Tavern and donates a HOUSE DRUM KIT FOR OPEN MICS!!!  Shane Speal has just received a vintage white Ludwig Rocker 5 piece kit with Sabian cymbals as donated by CBGitty.  Shane will bring the drums to their permanent home when he performs at Speal's on Saturday, February 18th.

CBGitty is the world's biggest Cigar Box Guitar parts supply company and a proud supporter of the Cigar Box Guitar Museum at Speal's Tavern.  CBGitty owner, Ben Baker had been looking for a way to support the tavern and their commitment to preserving the art of the cigar box guitar and also their passion for nurturing the local music scene.  When Shane Speal mentioned that the open mic could use a drum set, Baker donated the money.

Speal's Tavern hopes the drums expand the artist development collective started by Christopher Volpe, host of the Thursday night acoustic open mic.  "Now, up and coming bands can visit Speal's with minimum gear and work out their songs in front of an enthusiastic audience," said Shane Speal.
