Pretty much an obsession for me. Everything I look at gets evaluated as to whether is could be used as a sound hole cover, amp part, neck or tailpiece. Really bad part is it looks like I may have to ..................quit #$&)&)*.........

Move coming and I don't think there is going to be any space for tools/building.

Help me!!!

E D your confession has been heard and you are absolved feel free to make guitars until your guilt brings you here again.

Not really a prof, it was the first handle I thought of.

I'm here, but I don't want no cure for this disease.  I left the summer lake vacation early to come home and build a couple guitars, leaving my family behind so they could enjoy a few more days of peace without me grumbling about parts on the bench looking for a life.

 

I gather from your profile pic that you're a Chemistry Prof?  I dabble in that myself.

I am The Professor and I have a problem. Its been 2 weeks since my last build and I am starting to crawl up the walls. Since February I have endulged my desires and now have 7 Homemade guitars with 4 more already planned! My Strat sits dejected in the corner as I spend all my time playing blues on a cheap wooden box.

 

But dont worry. I will atone for my sins but I can absolve you, but you must be honest and accept you have a problem!
