Hello, I play a little Irish Trad on the Anglo Concertina and whistle.

My wife play Irish Trad with me on her Mandolin and sometime on an ukulele tuned to 5ths.

Greetings

I play an array of Instruments from banjo to hurdy gurdy.
I picked up a Guitar Dulcimer 3 years ago and thought i would Make a cigar box version.
this went by the wayside and unfinished.
Then i discovered the Diddley Bow.
I finished the cigar box diddley 10-20-2011 with a Camel Snus resonator.
I will be putting a Transuducer in next and give it a wirl.
will post pictures soon.
I have also Just ordered a custome Cigar box Fiddle
with a Strum stick dulcimer neck from Blaine Horlocker who made my dulcimer.
He really likes a challenge. will send pics on that also.

Hi. Great site. Had to join this group.My dad from Tipperary.Mum from Offaly. Been living in England for 20 years.Miss the old country.But there is a gang of us that get together and play for the craic in some local pubs.Even get free beer for our efforts. I play 6 and 12 string guitar as an accompaniment to the others and the singing.Stumbled across a 3 string advert.Got curious and then hooked.Just about to make my first CBG.

Havent got a clue how to play.But will enjoy trying.

I come by my Irish by way of the Joyces on my mother side and Farris on my father side. My grandmother could play anything with strings. Grew up on lots of Irish classics. I play mandolin, irish tenor banjo, tin whistle and now cbg. Slainte!
