snap, same as me, i can make the guitar's but, learning to play is'nt so easy for me, , pm me , might have something to help you,,

There is a lesson section in the community section and several learning resources in the groups section that is also under the community section.

There are also lots of stuff on youtube. Enter something like cigar box lessons in the search section. There are sometimes lesson books/cd/dvd under cigar box on e-bay.

Norm Fasey shot a video of Hollowbelly's workshop at the recent cigar box festival and this will help you somewhat.

Unfortunately you are too far away for me to travel to get you started but if you look under the members map (again under community) you might be able to find someone fairly local who will point you in the right direction .

Hi graham, Not been playing too long myself, but I found Kenny lee's video cd very helpful as a resource that i can access any time without searching through all the dross (sometimes) on you tube. Check out kennys advert to the right hand side of the page on how to play 3 & 4 string cbg's. Postage is reasonable and dispatched in a decent time and kennys style of teaching is very easy to get along with, very laid back, but he definately knows his stuff. It comes as a video cd, not dvd, but plays well on my windows xp system. Hope this he;ps. Alan H.
