PS Ebay says £15 + postage at this week, which is a bit rich - theyre usually half that!

you could buy a 6-string neck complete for £15.00, and cut it down to suit,

yep this guitar malarky is getting expensive,

Cheapest I have found are from the Nottingham music shop on ebay at £11.99 (free P&P) - haven't bought one from here but they have sold 87580 items and have a 99.9% feedback score - it might be worth checking what bulk discount they can offer.

I may be able to help with your quest but not in rose wood  how about some Maple.................

Generally I avoid cutting down standard necks GH as they tend to end up being a lot more work, plus youre fixed with scale length etc. Happy to use them on 6 stringers though - in fact, I have a heap of old strats that I just pull bits off when I need 'em...

Maple could be useful Badger - send me a pic and a price and lets talk numbers.

I actually have a stack of oak and mahogany and beech etc that I can use for fretboards, but I just prefer the Rosweood. To my mind it looks a bit smarter and gives a bit clearer note for fretless - thankfully one of Davids contacts is sorting me out with a stack of 'em!

Try Ken Walton - The Tonewood Man on ebay -find him by typing in rosewood bridge.He may have offcuts from his classical fingerboards

I ordered a Rosewood blank fret board from Nottingham Music Shop recently for 12.98, the board is fine but of course needs sanding and planing to size which has presented no problems so far, been really easy in fact -  will see how it has glued up tomorrow!
