Boxstock - The UK Cigar Box Guitar Festival
I've decided to take a sabbatical with Boxstock this year....I started with the best of intentions to find a venue, but without success ...and circumstances have overtaken me so that time has run out. Work and personal commitments have kept my focus elsewhere, with a heavy load of workshops almost every other weekend, a long custom order list and working at festivals and music events in the UK and the continent , it's all meant my time has been short and energy has been expended taking care of business.
The upshot is, rather than leaving it another year, I'm looking to move it forward to spring/early summer of 2015, so I'll keep you posted folks.

For anyone wanting a fix of cigarbox guitar stuff in the autumn...check out the 1st Dutch Cigar Box Guitar Festival, 6th September. I'm doing a workshop and a performing spot there..its free (apart from my workshop). It's not far to go, an easy 1/2 day drive from the channel ports to the venue, and channel crossings are cheap these days (less than £80 return)..go on be brave, drive on the wrong side of the road and be part of Europe.
