Lost Muckland Crooner seeks Texas Homecoming
I recently sold my house in New York states wonderful finger lakes region and moved back to the Houston area of Texas to spend more time with my three boys, their wonderful families, and my grandkids. But even before I have found a good job or a house to buy here, I am wondering how many CBG players there are, and which ones might be in need of an experienced suitcase bass player with awesome vocal ability and quality songwriting ability that would be interested in getting something going?…

Doug, the New Orleans CBG festival isthe middle of next month. They changed the name to the Samanth Fish CBG festival. It's probably listed under events on the Nation website.
Man it took me most of the morning scrolling down the list look'in forever for the Texas group. Yea, I missed it...again, the hill country get together. Sounds right for a CBG festival. -Doug in Bryan, TX

I live in Dallas and if there's a local group, I don't know about it. I too would love to become part of it though.
New to it all here in Dallas. I heard at Harbor Freight from the manager that there was someone else in the store for CBG building materials and tools just a few days before me. Said there was a local group that got together. I play 100 year old hickory golf clubs so it just seems right that I learn to build and play CBG. Anyone in the Dallas area here?
Wondering if there is any builders/players around the Seguin/New Braunfels area. I'd like to find someone in my area to chat, build and play CBG's!!
I see that the 5th ROT CBG Festival is in November, is there anything else like that coming up after that?
