Hi Craig, thanks for the comments. Top cap is Black Wattle the body is New Guinea Rosewood and it has EMG active pickups.

Start them off young.
I tried getting my daughter interested when she was young, she went with the Clarinet instead and hasn't touched it for 12 years. Her son is 3 and seems to like drums for now. I'll get one hooked eventually. LOL
