Hello folks. My name is Yann. I live in Paris France. I started playing guitar when I was 16, now it looks like I'm on my way to 59...
These days I mostly play blues, slide guitar which lead me to remove one or even three strings. So turning to CBG makes sense. I don't have one (yet) but I have a fair collection of old Harmony or Kay or Silvertone, all in open G and open D. But I've just finished a 2 strings diddley bow, made with a driftwood plank found on the beach during my last holidays. I'm planning to build a CBG of course, and a hubcap guitar since I have a spare neck. I will post some pictures of the making of this diddley bow. I'm a huge fan of Seasick Steve, which is very popular in France. I also like Justin Johnson, Samantha Fish, that's for contemporary players. Too long to list all, but RL Burnside is one of past guys that I really love.
