First time builder, getting confused with what types of boxes are best
So I’ve got a thousand ideas, which my wife hates. The two questions that I’ve not been able to solve via google are very basic. A) What are the best types of boxes to use, I’ve just picked a 5 or 6 some of them are "squarish" and fairly deep whilst a couple of others are more rectangular and shallower. B) I was going to start with just a basic neck and no fretboard. How important is a fretboard if I’m doing this fretless? Sorry, if my questions are very basic and I’m sure that the answer is somewhere but I just couldn’t find it.
