It may be a little nervy to start a group here when I've only built one CB instrument over three decades ago... but Hamhock encouraged me, so here goes.
I think the roots blues kind of sound I've heard from CBs plugged in is very cool, but at the same time I'd like to build one that sounds great unplugged too. I'm sure a bunch of you have favorites you've made and ideas about why they turned out so great sounding. This can be a place to get your experience based knowledge or even your wild and crazy ideas about what works and what doesn't into the group data bank so our instruments can keep evolving in amazing ways.
I'm open to info regarding commercial cigar boxes and cigar box- ish bodies some folks are making themselves. Thanks for dropping in and sharing what works.
