April 5 (Friday) or the 6th (Saturday) is good by me. Sunday I fly away again. Jump in y'all. Who wants to meet up. I'll host it....build or not, play or listen. I'll have the shop cleaned and ready, saws out in the garage, an amp in the house. Chime in. Glenn got it going so lets take up the torch.

The shop (okay, the basement) is pretty warm. Hot water heat in the building and the pipes keep it at a good working temp all winter. If I know folks are coming here for a meeting, I'll run the heater in the garage. Works great as long as I have propane on hand. And I'm happy to have everyone come for a swapping of ideas, inspiration, building and just chatting it up. We can fire up the grill, certainly have a cocktail or two. My place is easy to get to and there's always parking. 

Now, it's just getting a date. I'm even good if we have a couple of different days to accommodate all. Next weekend is wide open (the 9th &10th), so is the following weekend including Friday (March 15-17). April 5 or 6 is open then nothing till May.Let me know if any or all want to meet up.

Let's go to Kimmer's house!  I can vouch for his workshop, it has every bell and whistle!  (but is there heat?)

I'm up for a get together, even if its a small one. My work schedule is brutal too but I have time here and there.I'm around this weekend, April 6th (Saturday), any weekend in May so far. Don't know why, but Im busy a bunch lately and most of it is traveling. I have necks in the basement that are ready to go, boxes galore and my stock is running down....seems like I've only been donating them lately!!! Which is Fine. But I do need to get building.

I'll even go this far with the group and say that when I am in town, we could meet here at my place. If you bring wood, I can fire up the saws in the garage (Bandsaw, table saw, power planer, jointer, etc. We could make it a meet and build or just screw around and chat about ideas.

I hear you Chuck. Tom Manno, Diane in Chicago, anything possible over the next couple to three months re. a get-together? Kimmer?? I gotta pull the string tighter on my end of the can, heh!!

Glenn, the spirit is willing but the calendar is weak. It would be great to share some ideas, music etc. Hopefully schedules will get better.

So I'm a tad bummed there isn't more collaboration/meet-ups w. Chi-town area peeps. Certainly we are all busy and have varied degrees of time/interest in cbg's but how I wish for linking up more around town!!! If interested shoot an email up here please. -Glenn

There's the schedule of performers. Youtube any of them....I think they all have some clips. Then, get in your cars and head up north (about 35-40 minutes) and see them all live!!!
