Belinda seemed keen that I add some of my loops for folks to play around with. Not sure what tuning I used but most likely G or E if not then try A it'll be one of those!

Nice loops thanks.
ooh thanks David, will have a listen when I get a minute : -)
just been jamming along to the layer loop..nice! Will try and record something when I've finished a few other things.
cool - I've got literally hundreds of pieces (not all loops though) I have experimented with and saved on the backtrack but don't seem to get round to doing anything with them. It'd be nice to hear someone put something to one of these loops though.
been playing!..made the layer loop into a short loop. It seems to be somewhere between G and Ab.
I saved it as it was in G (ish!) and also using pitch shift I saved a loop in C and D.
I then recorded some D Bow and did the same with that, and a short vocal loop "getting louder"
You can then copy and paste them, take them in and out, reverse them etc!
I'll upload them so anyone can play with them if they want....when I load them into my programme I have to drag the left hand side out as it's not all there otherwise, so look out for that!
I then added some whistling, with lots of reverb and delay, and made lower with pitch shift so it hopefully sounded like wind?? Then added some reverby vocals.
I've left some space so anyone can add something if they want....
I'll add what I did first, then the loops (not proper loops, but you can just copy and paste them)
Wow - cracking stuff B. I knew you'd be able to do something interesting. The D bow sounds like it's in reverse in places, is that what you did? What redording software are you using?
thanks...yeah I reversed the D. Bow on some of the loops. I'm using Sony Acid pro 7. What do you use?
I use Audacity sometimes cos it was free. Then to overcome latency issues with my laptop I bought an external sound card, a Nio 2+4 which is a soundcard and mini mixer device and it came with a version of Ableton Lite which is what I mostly use now. Haven't done a lot with either though, most of my stuff is done in as a one shot/one track exercise and recorded as a single WAV file on my Backtrack. I might then import that into Audacity just to tidy it up a bit. Would like to get a bit more adventurous with it but there's such a huge learning curve with these things, then if I don't use it for a few months I've forgotten and have to relearn it.
Just done a collaboration with a friend - two of his vocal tracks and two of my CBG tracks. my Ableton only provides four tracks and now realising I could do with at least six. I know we are into minimalistic stuff with CBGs but once you get into multitracking, you realise how much more useful they would be.
ah right..I can really relate to to what you said about learning how to do it, then forgetting by the next time you use it!!
Yeah four tracks soon get used up...not sure if there's a limit with acid..if there is I've never reached it..I'm limited by what my computer can cope with!!
Is the collaboration track on your page?...would love to hear it : -)
Oh isnt that fun! That layered thing is something psychedelic and yet fantastic!
more of the loops
and yet more loops!
