basic CBG electronics kit! This kit contains all of the bits you need to electrify your special cigar box build, without any of the hassle of having to pick out the individual parts and buy more parts than you need. This kit has it all, for a good price, and includes a 2-page illustrated how-to guide, complete with wiring diagram and step-by-step instructions!

The kit contains:

(2) 20mm piezos with pre-soldered leads
(1) Neutrik long-shaft 1/4" mono guitar jack
(1) 500KOhm audio potentiometer (volume pot)
(1) "Chickenhead" style black plastic potentiometer knob
(1) 2ft. length red 22-gauge hook-up wire
(1) 2ft. length black 22-gauge hook-up wire
(1) 2-page instructions sheet.

GREAT new product: Pre-Wired Piezo & Jack Harness for only $11.99!

These are perfect for the builder who doesn't want to mess about with sourcing individual parts, wiring and worst of all soldering. With this harness assembly, you just glue in/attach the piezo, drill a hole and mount the jack and you're done! It doesn't get much simpler than this! Also be sure to check out my
article on piezo placement and mounting methods for some pointers on the best ways to place and mount a piezo.

The piezo in this harness is a high-quality 20mm Murata piezoelectric transducer, and the jack is a Neutrik long-shaft (9.5mm vs 6.5mm) 1/4" phone jack, great for getting through cigar box sides with plenty of threads to spare.

Rod Piezo & End-pin Jack Harness! This pickup assembly was made specifically for cigar box guitars, and features a great rod piezo pickup and chrome end-pin/strap button jack. Best of all, no soldering is required to install it! The rod piezo lead plugs directly into the back of the endpin jack, so all you have to do is mount your piezo, mount the jack, plug it in and you're done! Economy Mono Jacks - these jacks are nice quality, with double nuts on the shaft so that you can precisely mount them. They have a ~6.5mm shaft, so they may be a little short to go through the side of a cigar box, but they work great with our new Jack Plates! We sell these in 3-packs, 12-packs and bulk 25-packs, so you can stock up and save!

Economy Volume Potentiometers - We not have economy long-shaft audio-taper volume potentiometers in stock, in both 250KOhm and 500KOhm ratings. The longer shafts on these pots are perfect for getting through the sides of a cigar box guitar without having to do any gouging or chiseling of the inside wall of the box to thin it down. The knurled shaft of these pots will fit in all of the pot. knobs we sell too!

The heart of this kit is a 2.5W Artec amp circuit with onboard On/Off/Volume Pot, and we've paired it with a 3.5" 1W ferrite magnet speaker, as well as the other key parts you'll need.

New Product Alert: Chrome and Gold Resonator-style Screened Sound Hole Covers!

These are perfect for use on cigar box guitars and other handmade instruments, and our price is half of what you would pay elsewhere (looking at you, StewMac)! We have these in both chrome and gold, and sell them in sets of two. They are about 2 3/8" outside diameter and fit in a 1 7/8 hole.

We now have Old Lowe's custom metal soundhole covers and tailpieces in stock! There are many different varieties in both brass and stainless steel, including the one shown here. We also have some nice gold-plated Gibson-style 3-way switches, CBG nut/bridge files, gold "hurricane" speaker covers and some other great stuff!
