Does anyone have a favorite recording of Leadbelly that the would recommend?  How is the Library of Congress recording by Alan Lomax?

Just in case, and maybe jumping the gun.

I would be good with doing Leadbelly ....... and I now officially claim 'Midnight Special". I caught the leadbelly fever from "The Honeydripper".

My very first store bought guitar (1965) was a 12 string and Leadbelly was my guitar hero. It would be fun to go back to Leadbelly!

The problem is all my recordings of him are on vinyl....

A Leadbelly CBG tribute album would be cool. Tons of awesome tunes, many covered by the likes of Led Zep and Rory Gallagher - I'm well up for some of that...
