Hi there here is something I came up with. 1/2 scale 5 string canjo, with resonator sounds nice and bright!

Built a Banjo from a drum last week, very pleased with the result! As said, very hard to put down, planning a video of it playing soon (-;

I've yet to play a 'Banjitar'  always wanted to.  Getting ready to build some Banjolele projects soon.

Ive got a 6string Banjo tuned like a standard guitar got it a few weeks back and i cant put the thing down

Greetings pickers!  I was kinda surprised wasn't an existing banjo group so figured I'd make one.  And give a place to talk all things banjo.  A little about me to kick it off, I'm a pretty mediocre player of 5 string, started in 05 somewhat seriously as an alternative to frustration at acoustic guitar.  I enjoy the instrument in all forms of music, particularly old school jazz and I love my bluegrass.

 

Been looking to get a proper tenor soon and have some build ideas brewing as well.
