I'll be retiring soon and moving.  This means downsizing, so I will start selling off old and new CBGs and other guitar related items.   One of the things I'm doing with all my CBGs is ship them in a custom foam shipping container that can be the bones of a custom carrying case.  In the slide show below, I show a foam shipping container that I transform into a carrying case with spray glue and cloth and duct tape.

Time to sell them, if only to get them out from under foot...  At these prices, they are great wall hangers or even could be bought for their parts.  Never can tell... early Wichita Sam's might become collectors as part of CBG History...... thumbnail pics for moving sale CBGs, more to come.  All prices include shipping to the continental US.  If interested, click on the pic and you will go to my photobucket account with more closeup of all the CBGs.  If you have questions, email me... I can do more pics or post a youtube so you can hear the CBG.

Last Chance!  Any CBG bought and paid for overnight (April 29th) can still be shipped Saturday April 30.  After that, nothing will ship for 3 weeks as I recover from surgery.  Thanks for the great response... More to come about Wichita Sam Custom CBGs in late May....

Photobucket Heirloom  electric/reso  vintage box, spun cone,  humbucker/peizo/3way switch... $ 195 Sold!!! Thanks

Photobucket  License Plate reso, tele style pup.... rocks...  $ 95 SOLD!  thanks!!!!

Photobucket  WS # 182   1 string dulci-strummer... reso, piezo, vintage tuner key stems for bridge and nut, hook scroll headstock .... sold!!!  Thanks...

Photobucket   WS #31  Square neck fretless, piezo, three string slide steel...  get a piece of history.... $ 55

Photobucket  # no #, three string fretted dulci-strummer, 20" scale, acoustic, oak neck mahogany fretboard, bright sound... loud for such a small size...  $ 40

Photobucket   # 144 Vintage Box, built for museum exhibit with (mostly) hand tools, fretless, acoustic, very interesting.  good sound, total discussion piece .. $ 75

Please don't expect to buy custom Wichita Sam CBGs at these prices.... I will only build 20 custom, signed and numbered Wichta Sam CBGs per year in the future.  If you want a CBG that reflects the experience of over 275 builds (well over 400 if you count workshops and kits), please contact me and we will discuss your requirements.

thanks,

Wichita Sam

BTW, the Hot Rod CBG is $ 145, shipping included in the lower 48 in a plain/unfinished foam shipper.  If you like the finished carrying case, I'm asking $ 160 shipping included.
sam,  are you selling cigars boxes also.  if so i could be coerced into buying a BUNCH

I'm pretty much selling out... I have good sources where I'm moving, so it's cheaper to move as little as possible....

the issue is shipping... a $ 2 box will often cost $2-5 to ship.   But, "ask and it shall be given."  or, at least it will be affordable...

thanks,

the best,

Wichita Sam

PS:  you stuff went out yesterday... you should have it by Thursday/Friday....

You know me and boxes Sam - Il help ya clear out a bunch too :o)

are you gonna quit building???? why are you retiring???? where are you moving???

and lastly how many guitars are you slling...I will look thru and see one???? when???

Although I am building my own now, would love to own one of your creations........I'll keep an eye out.

just putting in my 2 cents. Recently I have been able to play 3 different cbgs by Sam, a real luxury courtesy of his tireless work for out soldiers and sailors here in Afghanistan, I must say that each of Sams guitars play beautifully and the look and constuction are top notch. If they are for sale you will not be dissapointed. Will be worth it no matter what the price, I swear

matt

hi John,

I'm not quitting building, but I will be cutting back to about one custom per month.  I'm retiring to be a full time grandpa.  I'm moving to Springfield Missouri.   Starting tomorrow, continuing for the next month or so, I'll be posting about 20 CBGs, a few wall hangers, most players, many very reasonable in price.

thanks for the interest,

Sam

Matt,

Thanks for the nice testimonial.  You can certain affirm the durability of my custom made foam shippers.  They do make great bones for an easy, do-it-yourself carrying case.....

Stay safe my friend.  Thank you for you service to our wounded warriors....

the best,

Sam
