While we are talking solid body resonator guitars.....

Hi here is another solid build, in memory of the new owner's father who had passed on.

I selected the timber from the late woodworker's stash in his vast shed and made what you see here. However, the customer wanted a solid black lacquer, and I hate covering up timber grain with paint, so we compromised and I left an area on the back showing his father's wood.

Glad you worked it out to maintain the father's wood. Wished he went with a natural stain though. Gives it a worn look I must say and looks awesome.

Never heard of a solid resonator.  That's real cool!
