Where can I find magnets as centre of an coil to use for my Diddley Bow. I want to make an electric one. If been looking in an old computer. There where some coils but no magnets.

you can add a magnet to it to boost its strength if needed . etc .
also , you can use any small speaker as a pick up . just put the speaker face down anywhere on the guitar and attach it to a jack or a cord .it will act like a mic and a pickup . more like a piezo . you may want to add a pieces of tissue inbetween the wood and the speaker .
old tattoo guns have mag coils , some buzzers . fire alarm bells , school bells , musical greeting cards have a piezo you can use , microwave oven buzzers are a great piezo , earphone speakers act as a piezo ,, old microphones . etc etc etc .. hope some of these ideas help ;-)
