Ok, I'm to the point I have to purchase some strings. My bridge to nut is 25 1/4". I put frets on using fret wire (medium), and am installing the little piezo wafer for sound (although I do not have an amp yet). I made it for 4 strings. What type of strings should I get?

Excuse me sirs, if I may leach on to this thread, I to am starting my first build, what strings whould I need for a three stinger?
There is no dead set rule, but I would recommend using the A,D, and G strings from a light acoustic string set. Tune to an open G or open A chord. This generally a good way to go.

Just purchase a set of Lt Acoustic strings from anywhere and use the A, D, G, and B strings from the set.
