For someone like me for whom it is physically impossible to do any finger picking techniques at all due to a hand injury (it took me a year to handle the basic rudiments of a six string guitar and a few more to master single strings) there are few lessons on plectrum style playing generally,  i adhere to Mike Snowden's style and his online lessons are invaluable but only few have been made. I noticed some other players using picks but some more pick lessons from our esteemed contributors would be very welcome !

  • Wow - Mike' stuff is great!  I bought his first CD last year but I hadn't seen any of his how to video's before.

    Thanks for the tip!!

  • Here is some information I found by googling: guitar flatpicking patterns

    http://www.fretjam.com/guitar-picking-techniques.html

As far as CBG is concerned, most of my knowledge and techniques come from miniaturizing my 6 string approach.

This might be a key to figuring out a method that will work for you.

    I hope this helps. Enjoy.

  • Thanks Keni, i have ordered your lesson cd's 4 and 5 , i think you include some pick sequences in your videos, Shane Speal has some too, i  was really throwing the whole thing out to the CBN world to highlight anyone else who was having problems or just likes to use a pick. (-:
  • Have you seen my video?

If I can be of any assitance please feel free to write.

    Enjoy your practice, Keni Lee
