Wanted - Mandolin fretboard

I'm in the initial planning stages of building a cigar box mandolin and is investigating whether I can do it with my current tools and whether I can get the parts I can't make myself.

Is it possible to buy a slotted (maybe fretted too) mandolin fretboard with a scale length of about 13" (330 mm) at a reasonable price anywhere? It doesn't have to be made of a traditional fretboard material as long as it is a suitably hard wood.

A seller within the EU would be preferable in order to avoid paying import duties.

Hi, I've just PM'd you..I've got plenty of nice black walnut, and I can slot you a fretboard and supply the wire too....shipping UK to Denmark is no problem.
