Old Hepburn Hotel, in Hepburn Springs hosts the 2018 Cigar Box Guitar Festival in the mineral springs area of Victoria, Australia.
Starting with a Builders Market at midday in the Beer Garden, there will be an eclectic mix of Victorian builders:
- Black Diamond Cigar Box Guitars
- Brookwood Guitars
- Chough Guitars
- Kingtone Mics and cigar box amps
- Oz Blues and Roots Music Store Cigar Box Guitars
- Salty Dog Cigar Box Guitars.
Also at midday we have Steve Plater [Festival Director and award winning guitarist] running a Learn to play the CBG Workshop.
The Festival musicians perform from 2pm until very late with an Open Mic and many jamming sessions where our artists will mix up.
Headlining performers include Anna Scionti, Rhiannon Simpson (video below), Stringybark Mcdowell & Molly Coddlecream and Salty Dog.
Tickets are $20 at the door, kids free and includes a CBG Door prize or 2 or 3 or 4! Get all the info here!

I hear the temperature in Victoria is going to be 9deg C I'm in Queensland, 31deg C, today. Plus its two or three day drive. Hopefully there will be videos on here.

Im in QLD too Taffy, yeah a 20 hour drive one way is a bit much, plus it is Mothers Day on the Sunday...
We are getting snow up the Mountain the storms are that bad it feels like my mother’s place will fly up there . 6 deg .....
I’m to busy with Reno’s or I’d be there maybe next year .
would be fun but a bit short notice and a 19 1/2 Hr drive 1,862 Km drive.... thats 1157 Miles.... :-)
