<p>I have something better than a tutorial. I asked Farmer Jon (washtub bass player for Shane Speal) what he uses. He said to get the inexpensive .080 green round wick from Walmart. DO NOT BUY THE OCTAGONAL STUFF IT WILL SHRED YOUR FINGERS.</p>
<p>Anyway, I tried it out and he was right... it works fantastic. Coincidentally, I also tried the .105 wick and it does not sound as good as the .080. I'm not sure why but it's proof Farmer Jon knows washtub basses. LOL.…</p>
