  • what ever you have it tuned to open if thats G then at 12th fret that will be G also . 12 frets up is one octive higher then open 24 frets is 2 octives higher then open

      I'll try that out as soon as I get my CBG strung. I am currently building my first guitar so any tips or tricks of the trade help enormously.

  • just measure from nut to 12th fret then double the lenght and thats where bridge should be, will have to fine tune it thiugh. 12th fret intonation, string should ring out when you very lightly put your finger on it and pluck the string. move bridge slightly in or out to get intonation near perfect

      I understand that method thus far, but what note should I show on my tuner at the 12th fret assuming I am in standard tuning for each string ?
