As a bonafide Ozarkian who comes from a long line of appalachian hill billies, there's something about some real thumping bluegrass that feeds the soul. Yo-Yo Ma (believe it or not), Chris Thile and some other guys collaborated for this album and I thought this particular song was absolutely fantastic...

  • Full circle - Classical instruments originated as Folk instruments, Classical music comes from Folk music songs so it is not really surprising that this ensemble's Bluegrass music works so well, amazing performance! ***** (-:

    Also, for those who thought the same thing I did, that odd looking, fretted, 6 string violin that Thile is playing at the beginning is a Viol, or "Viola de Gamba". I wouldn't mind trying to make a CBG variant...
