Yes folks, from HADES!
It's been 4 months in the making. It was "one of those" builds that I mentioned before. I almost finished my first uke (waiting on tuners), then decided to finish this one.
Antique store box with a few new things for me.
First bolt-on neck. First fully shaped neck with shaped headstock. First uke.
I had to rob 2 tuners from a dulcibox that will probably get dissassenbled ... alsi used 2 strings from it. Dug the other 2 strings and tuners out of left over junk ... er ... building material.

Here it is!

  • That's what happens to me...I'm sitting here surrounded by a regular guitar, a mandola, a banjo, a uke, a resonator CBG....And another instrument I have no name for.

Tommy Tedesco, studio guitar ace, said he tuned all his instruments the same as a guitar.
  • One great truth in musical life .....
    CHORDS ARE YOUR FRIENDS!

I think I am learning the basic chords for everything ever made with a string ... just hope I don't get them mixed up!

  • A nice job. I like the box! I built one last year and it turned out pretty well. I used a slotted headstock (first try at that), and a bolt-on neck as well. Sound pretty good but I haven't really learned to play it very well. No time...
