The Last build/project for 2017
Hi all, here is my most recent build/project a Resonator guitar in progress, thought you might be interested.....not a CBG though. The back and sides are Silky Oak {Lacewood} cut from a very old wardrobe door and the top is New Guinea Rosewood as is the neck. The fingerboard is ebony.
At the moment its going through the French polishing process.
This top is for another guitar....

Thanks guys, believe it or not that back is two pieces sliced and book matched, but the grain is not the same on both sides like I thought it would be. The French polishing brings out the grain and add a great patina.
