Due to my recent battle with esophagus cancer ,  I will no longer  be able to work on my guitars and continue  running the swamp witch guitar empire .

HOWEVER ….. Have no fear !!!!

You will still be able to get  the swamp witch  brand guitars that you  know and love .

BEN BAKER at  C.B GITTY crafter supply (CBGITTY.COM) now owns the legal rights to the swamp witch brand , design ,  name ,  and all aspects of the business.   I have supplied him with the  brand secrets ,  blueprints ,  access to the same parts , same  pickup , and treatments  and tricks .. etc etc . Ben is the  best candidate  to do the  job .  he has the experience  , the facilities ,  the staff ,  and parts  supply ,  offering a  faster  turnaround time,  and even a better artwork printing process than I used , (heck , I was using t-shirt transfer paper and a clothes iron .)  Ben has a state of the art imaging process.

All this resulting in what I believe will be just as good , or possibly an even  better all  around swamp witch guitar   in terms of play-ability and performance, and still have that swamp witch signature sound ,  available to you all soon,   he plans to go into production in the  very near future .

LOOK FOR HIS ANNOUNCEMENT SOON .  I hope you are all as excited as I am to see  what he comes up with ,  he may add  his  own take on it  , improve it / change it, , offer new  options etc ???   who knows ?   it’s his baby now .

As for me . I will no longer  have anything to do with the business ,  all orders etc... go through Ben  from now on .

I feel l at peace knowing the the brand will live on now  . and  knowing it is in great hands .  ;-)

I have nothing but mutual  love  , thanks , and  respect for all my past  customers , I’m sure  the same sentiments can be shared and continued through  Ben as he  grabs the reins  of this  majestic  musical  thrill ride.  Please welcome  him with open arms . ;-)

Pick .

Pick, You are the man. Wishing you the very best.

Thank you, Pick. I am glad we'll be able to carry on what you created.

Well Pick, that is certainly bad and good news.  You did such wonders with the swampies and were so creative and so generous.   Sad you can not continue.

Good on Gitty for picking up the torch and continuing these iconic threes.    I hope Gitty continues your construction and look.  One concern for me is the pickups.  I think you bought good ones then worked some magic on them.  I 've played a lot of CBGs and a lot of pickups.  But the swampy pickups I played on my own, Maddogs and Kevin Perlic's Swampwitch guitars sounded better to me than any other pickup.

Oooh.  Chris Lyons idea for a Red Ryder BB gun themed swampy.  Fun idea.

Pick - I will always treasure my swampy that you made for me about 6 years ago for my birthday when I turned 60. I'm glad that Ben is taking on the adventure of your brand.  I will be praying for you to heal.

Love ya bro.and we hope you win this fight. You have made CBN so much fun with all yer Swamp Witch stuff from the beginning.Always the innovator.Sending prayers and healing vibes yer way..... We appreciate all the heart you have put in here.

Well, dang, Pick, that both sucks, and is great news. I hope you’ll accept prayers for healing and strength for your battle. I know Ben will do you proud. Much love from Tejas.

But what about the genuine Swimpwatch carboard knockoffs copies!. Hey Pick end of an era man, I hope you are ok. Wishing you all the best...and thinking of you. Glad to see the Legend lives on
