  • It does depend of scale lenght. What is the measurement from the bridge to the nut.

  • Just use the middle four strings from a set of six (9's) for GDG  (or  GDGb)  - 32 - 24 - 16 (11), on a four string i usually like to beef up the high b string with a 13, though if you use too high gauge strings on a CBG it accentuates the percussive effects of the plectrum if you use one...unless you want that kind of sound  (-:

  • What is your scale length? You can normally use the A(5), D(4), and G(3) from a standard light or medium set, and tune the A down to G.
