The spacing of the strings is really a matter of preference. You might want to make them like a regular acoustic spacing though. It won't have impact on the sound as much as your comfort in playing. Bottom line, not too close together, not too far apart. I guess if they are too far apart a chord wouldn't sound right and too close together a chord might buzz or sound jumbled. I have plenty of regular guitars laying around the house, I will see what the average is on an acoustic and let you know.…
