Still having the same issues and have tried everything short of contacting my ISP (ATT). I can connect to all websites except anything in the Ning network. Sometimes the page will load about halfway, but mostly it times out. I think it must have something to do with ATT, but don't really feel like sealing with them right now. Everything was fine before the big crash. Just an FYI for Dan or Shane or anybody else having issues. Probably a good time to step away from the keyboard anyway...

seems  ok and  back to  normal  where  i   am  ,  but  sometimes  after  a  time  out  or crash  ..  i  seemed to  be one of the last  to  be able to  get back on too . but  that  usually  fixes  itself  . (maybe an area  thing)   maybe  wait a bit  . before   changing your   settings and  possibly  causing more issues     ?

Thanks pick. Pretty sure it's not on my side now. I'm able to get through using a proxy, so I think my IP is getting blocked somehow. I just went on Ning's site and saw a discussion where random IP seemed to be getting blocked for some people.

They supposedly had a major outage that not only affected the Ning sites, but their admin network and their phones as well. There could very well be some residual issues they have not yet resolved.

OK, try this. do a google search or whatever to find a link to the site. When you go to click on the link, hold down the CTRL key. Just wanna see if your settings are blocking it as a pop up.

If that doesn't work, I would look at the possibility that the site has blacklisted a provider, or one of their server IPs and they haven't found it yet.

If you think its something on your computer, I can give you step by step instructions on what to check.

I'm loading ok,but a little unstable now and then,have to manually refresh,and at times the new page is a bare bones set up,but it does re fresh eventually,been unstable since Thursday

Thanks Blues Frog, but it looks like I'm back in business now.  Everything just loaded up as fast as could be.  Sounds like they had quite a mess on their hands and I must've been at the end of the line somewhere.  On the plus side, I'm all scanned, updated and refreshed on my end now.
