  • So for those who like the paint can lid resonators,..these 2 pizza pans seem to be the option that would make worthwhile alternates,..both are 6 inch diamteer,..the first with tapered sides and 1/2 inch deep,..the second with straight sides. 1 inch deep...

  • Check the free section on Craig's, my area has partial cans of paint on there fairly often. Seen it cheap at the restore shop as well. One thrift shop nearby seems to have a lot of steel bakeware, bowls, etc often under a buck.
  • Ok,..so,..one last item to consider,..check these out -they're called "dial pans",..and they're used for clock building,..or clock repairs,..

    Ciao! ...John

  • I'm usually wary of sellers that don't give a shipping charge till after they get your credit card number, and especially wary of sellers who charge the customer for return shipping and restock fees even when the part fails to live up to the advertisement.

there is at least one (likely many more) shady business on the interscam who's business model is to sell crap and make their money just on shipping and restock fees.

  • Wow, John, thank you for all the cool ideas and links!!

    • You're welcome!

  • Ok then,..with all the info shared here,..perhaps this item is a good solution. It's a flat aluminum lid with handle, 6 5/8" diameter. You would need an appropriate box size obviously,..and you could either use the handle as a bridge cover, or remove it. It has a good flange though,..and the price is pretty sweet...John
