  • Yep string tension only for me.  It's not going anywhere without forcibly moving it.  Plus if I need to move it for some reason I can without having to break the glue's hold.

  • Hi Paul,

    String tension, but also some people use a circular file to file a grove into the neck for the cut bolt nut. Even then, ultimately, it's string tension that holds in the nut. Same for the bridge.

  • Probably just the tension/downforce from the strings. Some people also add a small amount of glue.
