Here is my second build. A 3 stringer.
 A nice deep all wood box, from the local shop, house brand.
13" scale dulcimer frets. Maple neck, old flooring. Maple bridge with a piece of mahogany from the box liner. The nut is Lignum Vitae.The tuners had some liners so the tuner rods would go all the way into the other side of the slot, I did not use them and they seem to work well this way. The rod where the strings come out of the neck, at the bottom, is a piece of welding rod.  It is about the size of a mandolin, I made it for my daughter, but am enjoying trying to play it myself, sounds great with the deeper box. Got ti tuned to GDg. Thanks for all the help.
 I did get a bit of a buzz from the strings in the slots I cut in the bridge, but I seem to have fixed it.
