<p>Tuned that one to G with a .044 bronze wound string. I have used .041 aircraft safety wire on one of my canjos and did one with .080 nylon weed whacker line. Half the fun is trying out new ideas and seeing if they work. Tune it to what works best for your style and have fun.</p>

<p>On the canjos I have built I just used the same basic scale length as my CBG builds and the bridge was where the string went through the bottom of the can. Experiment and have fun with them. I use electrical ties for frets on the broom handle, they work well and you can slide them to adjust the tuning.</p>
