This is the result of a lightning strike to the largest image of Christ in the US. It's only a few miles up the highway from where I live. I guess God is serious about that graven image thing.

Yes, they are going to rebuild it - this time with fire proof materials. I can't believe I saw this on the national news overnight.

I guess butter is not a good insulator. I am surprised who ever designed this, gave no thought to the giant lightening rods they were actually constructing. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy.
