Hi, ED Eker asked if I would show a photo of this guitar, he spotted it in a photo I posted on his recent peghead  post.

Well A.D here is all I have left of photos of this build, for some reason the whole file on this guitar went missing. The peghead has Art Deco style inlay motives in pearl but they do not show up in these photos.

The tuners are also of an art deco style. It is built with New Guinee Rosewood. It has two pickups that can be used conventionally or in stereo. There are a variety of tones that can be had through the onboard preamp.
The bolt-on neck plate is covered by the timber inlaid cover.

Cutting out the well with a saw this way saved a whole lot of mess and time if using a router...

Then a back cap was glued in place...

Fitting and leveling the binding and purfling...

All done...

Shows the output sockets, which can be used mono or stereo.

This is an old build from 2010. Cheers Taff

very nice Taffy.

are those caulking guns used for clamps?

Thanks for the pictures Taffy its as nice as i exspected , your verry hands on whit your builds , looks is one ,but you know whit a rezzonator to ones liking its the sound that haze to do the trick! for me at least, sins its from 2010 you probebly sold it olready or it was orderd for someone special ,but just to satisfy my curiousety

how much is one of yours? if you build one, separate from a onboard amp, just  the two pickups one near the neck and one in or under the cone?

Kind greeetssszz and much abliged for the pictures !

Wow Taffy!!! That is a beautiful build.

Hi, thanks for the comments guys.

Tim, when I worked with people in a wood workshop who experienced a range of different abilities, I was always creating tools and aids that would make the job doable for them. Clamping needed two hands so I converted, as you said, caulking guns to do the job quickly and easily. When I saw these ready-made clamps sometime later, I bought heaps of them, and some for myself.

A.D, I built this guitar the "Commodore" with no customer in mind, some people saw it and ordered their own versions of it, I hate that, but in the end, it was sold to a customer passing through on holidays.

I don't have a price list for guitars, the price comes from discussing the customer's requirements and/or how happy I am with the final outcome.

Awesome!

Hi, I just found this better photo of the peghead of the Commadore guitar.
