This guitar is a 4 string guitar with E, A, D, G on it (top four).  The 12th fret harmonics are perfectly in tune.  But the 12th fret is sharp on all strings, almost to the next note.  Is the nature of the beast or what should I be looking at to fix it.  This is a 24" scale.  We've tried moving the bridge from 23 7/8ths to 24 1/8.   We've tried the bridge straight and angled.  Thanks for any feedback you might have.

  • if your action is high at the bridge that might affect it too

  • Awesome!  I'll keep tweaking it then!  Thank you!

  • Hi. The harmonic will always be in tune. The trick is to move the bridge until the note there is in tune with that. If the notes are sharp you need to nudge it backwards, making the strings longer.
