I`m gaining on it. I think. 

I would like to keep the factory glued paper bits from disintegrating from wear for a while. Do any of you apply any kind of finish? I know they are just used cigar boxes but I see some that look like they have a finish, and look pretty good for it. I also have some boxes with paper graphics that I like a lot and would like to keep. Some are almost completely covered, wood not cardboard.

  • Sounds childish, but I have used glue sticks to adhere any loose spots then clear coat with a spray on satin poly finish. You can get a can of it at Home depot for about $6 and it will last for ALOT of builds. Good luck.

  • I haven't done it yet, but I would think any polyurethane would do it, I have some satin I'm going to try on my first git, but other more experienced builders will be better equipped to answer.
