Pick ups and number plate cbgs

Can anyone give any tips relating to pick up choice and fitting on a planned number plate CBG build?

you can use a magnetic pick-up (p-bass/humbucker/single coil etc) or a piezo or both, switched or not, it's up to you,

to get some idea's just look at completed No-plate CBG's,

I have a few license plates that I hope become CBGs at some point.  Not wanting to spoil the top, I will be ghosting a magnetic pickup underneath.  A faily hot thin one or maybe a GItty Bomb.  :)

Would the metal in the plate not interfere with the magnetic field of the pick up?

License plates are aluminum, which is non magnetic? So, no?
