My kid (38 years old...) volunteered to provide part of the entertainment at a local "CON" here the first week in April.
Feeling that his own picking skills were minimal, he's drafted my wife and I to provide backup and flesh out the act a bit. (my wife sang semi-professionally for years locally)
We'll be doing a variety of stuff, from Tom Russell to Dylan to Gershwin...
I'll be doing my self-penned "cigar box blues" in addition to wanging away on a standard gee-tar.
We've been doing weekly rehearsals, hopefully we won't be embarrassed!
