My first Diddley Bow

Wanted to make a Bass Diddley Bow with an industrial look...decided on a 24 inch scale

The lumber was salvaged from a pallet. Only have hand tools...so it is what it is

Thank goodness for Hydrochloric acid and Hydrogen Peroxide to rust up the parts!

A bunch of trial and error on the rusting process...in fact, completely dissolved the important parts of the tuner the first time around !

The end caps on the pipe can be tightened down against the plates as seen in picture #6

Only a volume knob was used.
