Hi, I just stumbled across these videos of Jesse Fuller, an extremely talented one man band. He did vocals, harp, kazoo, 12 string guitar, slide guitar, foot pedal hi hat, and most intriguing, a foot operated bass he invented called a fotdella. You can see the fotdella in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IV3MBk3bOkM You can see him playing slide with a pocket knife in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq_nx-9GY4I Enjoy! • If you're using Firefox for a browser, there is an add on called Download Helper that makes it easy to download videos.

  •    There's at least one Jesse Fuller video on VIMEO.  It's one of the videos they let you easily download,

provided you register. Don't know if there are more...

  • I didn't save the vids but found these - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBME_J0pf3o

I guess save 'em while you can. The copyright people might be after them.

  • i really like jesse fuller, a real troubador, didn't become a pro til late in life ,got a few of his albums and saw him on tv (in the 60s?) with his Fotdella. he claimed he saw it in a dream (i believe him,) and he made one the next day...

sadly this is an old post and the vid is not available-did you keep a copy?

  • Cool! Thanks for sharing these videos.
