In love with CBG's

Hi guys! I just want to say that I am totally hooked on these cigar box guitars. I already posted my first build in "intros" so I won't double post the pic, but I just wanted to say that I brought it to a fall picnic today and everyone there loved it. I even let several of the kids play on it for a while. One of the girls there, who has never played any instrument in her life, was a natural on it; she really sounded great! Her mom asked if I could build one for her so I'm actually going to be building one for her and one for her mom. It's so cool that such a simple instrument can get people really excited about playing music.

Enjoy Corey. Ya, I can tell you there are a lot of builders / players here that share your excitement. Something very refreshing about a simple homemade instrument. Especially today in a high tech cyber world. Enjoy.
