OK...so maybe it can't be considered a "great" quake.  I know its a bit morbid, but an earthquake was on my "life list" of things to experience. Just so we can keep it music-related...your random 3.6 earthquake is a great reason to keep you guitars in tune. When it hit, I woke up a ringing G chord (3-stringers, 4-stringers, 6-stringers, and my banjo). They overwhelmed any other tunings I had going on.

    On your life list of things to experance you should come to SoCal and experance a 7.2 . I could not belive the overall noise it made. The street lamp poles looked like and sounded like tuning forks.

  • I heard it, but here it just sounded like a truck going by. I didn't really feel anything.
  • If yourtalking about the earth guake that started up in Canada, I live on the Canadian boarder and we were in a resturant when it hit. It sounded like something that exploded, it made everyone jump. lasted less than a minute here.
