ok, I'm new on this forum..and I'm building one. Now about these grommets..I've considered
tarp grommets, but these don't have the screens in them. How important are the screens?
How many of these grommets/holes do I need on a 9.5 x 8 inch cigar box?

Hello Barry -

You definitely don't need the screens, but they can add a distinctive decorative touch. I currently have 15mm (outside lip diameter) screened brass grommets, and I have larger ones on the way, including a 1" outside diameter and then a 1" inside diameter. I also have standard grommets in various sizes available, from 1/4" on up through 2" inside diameter.
