Gunpowder Jug Resonator
I was curious if anyone had used a 16oz steel powder can as a resonator and if so if they had any tips to pass along. Mine are all this style:http://www.zoro.com/i/G1191793/?category=8628#imagePopUp

That's cool! I have only made them with beer cans, but I would imagine you would use the same procedure.
The metal is probably thicker than a common beer can, so cutting the top off would require a better cutting tool than I use. I just use a utility knife on the cans. Dremel tool to cut, maybe? Good luck! -
