Got an urge....

To make a full-size resonator guitar, a "dobro" if you will. What I have in mind is a cheap/cheesy acoustic guitar and an aluminum "shop-light" reflector for the resonator.

Cut hole, install resonator, fill in sound-hole if necessary, fabricate (or buy) a cover, install a trapeze tailpiece...
Cut new small sound holes in the upper bout....

Didn't one of our guys do one of these... the thought of looking through all those pics is daunting.

I've seen several cheapo acoustics converted to resonators on here.
