David, some guys don't like them curved on a flat board, but i do, they seem to grip better, you just need to pay attention when you install them that your slots are deep enough to fully seat them, and also that they are central across the neck.

Because they are pre cut and curved, they will stretch a bit when flattened, and the edges might not be even, no big deal, it's the same with flat pre cut, you need to align them so the edges aren't staggered
